Note: As a family, we have been studying the Word together and have been excited in all we have been learning. In the last couple of months we have felt our Heavenly Father directing our family to refer to His name in ways that are more in keeping with the original names given in Scripture/Hebrew. Instead of using the Lord in reference to the Father we have felt led to use Yahweh; instead of using Jesus, Yahshua; and instead of God, Elohim. You will notice that these changes will be reflected in our writings.

We do want all of you to know that this is how Yahweh is leading us. We also want you to know that you have freedom to use His name as you feel led in submitting writings and corresponding with us.

Blessings, grace, and peace to all of you in the precious name of the Lord Yahshua! The King's Daughters is a bi-monthly magazine, and now a website, published to encourage young ladies to love and serve our Heavenly Father. If you are a young woman whose desire is to follow Yahweh, you are a daughter of the King! "The King's daughter is all glorious within..." (Psalms 45:13) Our glory lies in the intimacy we have with Yahshua as we daily walk with Him. The Lord Yahshua is worthy of our love and of our lives, and He desires to share an intimate love-relationship with each one of us. May He become to us the Altogether Lovely and the Chiefest among Ten Thousand to our souls! Our prayer and desire is that The King's Daughters magazine, and now this website, will encourage the hidden qualities we are called to portray as the King's daughters.

My name is Shanna Fournier. I am twenty-two years old and my sister, Jessica, is twenty-one. We are the oldest of eleven children. We started publishing The King's Daughters in the summer of 2002, with a burden on our hearts to encourage young Christian ladies and point them to Yahweh. The Lord Yahshua has become the lover of our souls and the passion of our lives. Our greatest desire is to live for our Savior, and through this magazine we desire to encourage other young ladies to passionately love and live for Him. We have witnessed many young ladies who, being pulled by the world, have lost their first love for the Lord Yahshua. Our desire is to encourage young women to honor their parents and to wholeheartedly follow after Yahweh and walk in an intimate love-relationship with Him.

We desire to please and honor our Heavenly Father through our writings and through our lives. We also desire to be vessels that He can use to fill and pour through. We are so thankful for His dealings and faithfulness in our lives and for the opportunity He has given to us to boast in His goodness, to share of His work in our hearts, and to encourage other young women through The King's Daughters. Yahweh has used the publishing of this magazine to teach us many things in our own lives. We are grateful for the work He has done in our hearts and for all He will continue to do!

We are also thankful for the many dear sisters in Yahshua that our Heavenly Father has brought into our lives through The King's Daughters. We are always blessed and encouraged to hear of other young ladies who are seeking to follow Yahshua. We look forward to the notes and letters we receive, and we are so very blessed by the words of encouragement that others share with us. We too would love to receive submissions from other young ladies for future issues of The King's Daughters. If you have a word of encouragement on your heart, a testimony of how our Heavenly Father is working in your life, a Scripture, or a poem that He has used to minister to you, we would love to hear from you! As young women, it is not our desire to teach older women, but we do hope to be an encouragement! We do have a "Mom's Corner" in each issue where a mother can share wise and righteous counsel and encouragement to all the young ladies who receive this magazine. If you are a mother and you have a word of encouragement that you would like to share with us for "Mom's Corner," we would love to hear from you! However, please understand that we earnestly pray and try to hear Yahweh on each writing that we put into The King's Daughters, and so we may or may not be able to put every writing in this magazine. (Please note that it is not our desire to make any doctrine an issue. We only desire to lift up the name of Yahshua and encourage young women to seek our Heavenly Father with all of their hearts.)
